Just hours after a video surfaced of Kareem Hunt attacking a woman in a Cleveland hotel, the Kansas City Chiefs have released the star running back. The league suspended Hunt on Friday after TMZ published security video of Hunt shoving and kicking a woman at a Cleveland hotel. The incident happened in February, but the video had not surfaced before now.
In a statement, the Chiefs said the video confirms that Hunt “was not truthful” when first discussing the incident with team management and that they were “releasing Kareem immediately.”
Is Hunt’s NFL career over? Should the Chiefs have released him sooner?
