Wesley Snipes has been hit with another major blow in his battle with the IRS. Snipes has been fighting with the IRS and has even gone to jail over tax evasion charges from 2001 through 2006. The IRS wanted Snipes to pay $23.5 million in back taxes, but Snipes offered to pay $850,000 and his request was rejected.
The settlement officer reduced the fine to $9.5 million, but Snipes isn’t budging from his initial offer. Do you think that the IRS will budge from what they want Snipes to pay? Should someone talk to Wesley about changing his offer? Do you think Wesley will go back to jail?
