Singer Chris Brown and the mother of his child, Nia Guzman, are close to finishing up a new child support deal. The two have been in talks for months and in the new deal Chris’ support payments will increase. Chris has been paying Nia $2,500 a month, but Nia is asking for $21K a month.
Sources say she won’t get that much a month, but she will get a larger amount than what she’s getting now. Chris will also get Nia a house, and pay her $100K legal fees. Earlier, Chris had claimed that Nia was trying to squeeze him for money after he was arrested in 2016 for assault with a deadly weapon. Now the two are being more civil for Royalty.
Do you think that Chris is giving up too much? Do you agree with the way child support is calculated? What’s the most difficult thing about getting child support?
