Bill Cosby’s former attorney, Joseph P. Green, asked for a new trial after claiming that the prosecution didn’t prove that the assault happened within the 12-year statute of limitations and that the tape recording that was used as evidence had been tampered with.
The trial judge, Judge Steven T. O’Neill, has rejected the request on Tuesday October 23 and stated that Cosby’s team could try the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.
