Some Apple users claim the new iOS 12 software is sending iMessages to the wrong people. A feature that was supposed to merge conversations with one person who has multiple e-mail addresses or phone numbers is the issue.
Users have been posting on Apple support boards that other contacts are being merged and they are receiving those messages. The biggest issue seems to be within families that share the same Apple ID. So, this isn’t a glitch as much as it is a product of the Apple universe.
