The Seattle based company Amazon is boosting its minimum wage for all U.S. workers to $15 per hour starting next month for over 350,000! The company stated Tuesday that the wage hike will benefit full-time, part-time, temporary and seasonal positions.
Even employees at Whole Foods will get the same pay hike, plus Amazon’s hourly operations and customer service employees will also see a wage increase.
This move will surely cause a ripple effect and eventually force their competition to eventually do the same in order to keep their workers happy and loyal.
