Binging Netflix on the couch is great and all, but sometimes you have to leave the house. Traveling and commuting can cut you off from a stable internet connection or worse, subject you to data limits from your phone company. Thankfully the streaming giant has you covered by building the ability to download movies and shows for offline viewing into the official app.

The feature is built into both the iOS and Android versions, plus the Windows 10 version of the app. Sorry Mac users. Just a heads up though: downloads will eat up a lot of space on your device. A 94-minute movie at standard quality takes up half a gig of memory. In HD, that runs 1.8 gigs.

Do you load up your device with entertainment choices before taking a trip? What are you currently watching?
