The iconic LeBron James banner began coming down this morning in Cleveland. As the NBA Champion leaves the Cavaliers for the Los Angeles Lakers, the huge picture of James with his arms stretched out wearing a jersey saying Cleveland on the back is being removed from the Sherwin-Williams building.
After it is gone, there will be nothing but an empty brick wall. Sherwin-Williams “is evaluating other options” as to what they will put up on the side of their world headquarters.
What do you think should happen to the banner? Auctioned off? Put away for an eventual display in a museum? Other?
