A tweet from Samuel L. Jackson late las week has drawn the ire of some because of perceived homophobic overtones. The actor and Capital One spokesperson tweeted at Donald Trump last week for his birthday saying: “Must have been a party at The White House, Mitch, Paul, Rudy & others were spotted wearing knee pads & carrying these lined up outside. Happy Birthday”
The tweet included an image of a product called “After Dick Mints” with the tagline “Going down?” Some thought the tweet was homophobic in nature and some even made sure to report the tweet to Capital One.
Does this tweet cross the line or go too far? Will capital One distance itself from one of the stars of the Marvel Universe?
