The General Election is on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in the United States of America. Are you election day-ready? Individuals who have changed a name or address must update voter status. Individuals turning 18 years of age on or before the November 8 election are eligible to register to vote. And, those individuals who have received grant orders in the mail, signed by the governor, for felony offenses are eligible to register to vote.

| Proposed Constitutional Amendment Question 2 | Shall the Constitution of Virginia be amended to allow the General Assembly to provide an option to the localities to exempt from taxation the real property of the surviving spouse of any law-enforcement officer, firefighter, search and rescue personnel, or emergency medical services personnel who was killed in the line of duty, where the surviving spouse occupies the real property as his or her principal place of residence and has not remarried? |
