Former NBA player and Philadelphia 76ers assistant coach Sean Rooks died on Tuesday June 7th at only 46 years old. Rooks played for seven NBA teams from 1992 to 2004 and coached for the 76ers up until a couple of weeks ago.
It’s reported that Rooks collapsed and died while having dinner at a Philadelphia restaurant shortly after meeting with New York Knicks president Phil Jackson for an assistant coaching position. Several players reacted to Rook’s death on Twitter:
