LeBron James, depending on who you’re arguing with, is the best basketball player in the world not named Wardell Stephen Curry. While there’s still another few years before either of the Curry’s offspring hit the hardwood, Bron’s oldest son, LeBron James Jr., has been making quite a name for himself for his basketball acumen. This shouldn’t be surprising, given the DNA that helped birth him but DNA is tricky. Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever, but none of his sons can follow in his footsteps. And Bo Jackson, one of the only pro athletes to be named an All-star in two different professional leagues, has a son who isn’t very good at sports either. Rodger Bohn at Slam had this to say about LeBron’s and his wife, Savannah, pride and joy.

“Running with the North Coast Blue Chips, the fifth-grader showed once again that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. He was a simply dynamic playmaker, throwing no-look passes on the regular and pinpoint passes in transition. It was easy to tell that he was a cut above the other players his age, as James had some ridiculous finishes at the rack and sent a few shots packing into the stands. Add in the fact that he was bombing a ton of three-pointers and you see why the Blue Chips had a super hyped atmosphere at every one of their games throughout the weekend.”
