Get ready! Run, walk, jog, dance and shout at the 2nd Annual Bridging the Health Gap Joy Run/Walk 5K and 2K this Saturday at Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 418 Halifax Street, Petersburg, VA. The walk starts at 9:00 a.m. followed by a community Health Fair at 9:30 a.m. Hosted by Clovia Lawrence of Radio One Richmond stations. Registration is currently open online at tbcptg.org
The Health Fair promotes awareness and emphasizes the importance of good health habits. It is open to the public and any individual interested in becoming healthier. The health fair will provide dental cleanings, cholesterol checks, BMI, blood pressure screening and physicals by Optima Health and Capital Area Health Network.
