A Missouri state jury has ordered Johnson & Johnson to pay the family of a woman who died from ovarian cancer linked to the use of Baby Powder and Shower-to-Shower which are talc-based products made by the company.

The family of Jacqueline Fox was awarded $10 million in actual damages and $62 million in punitive damages.

The Johnson & Johnson company is facing multiple lawsuits claiming that it failed to warn consumers that its products were talc-based and could cause cancer.
