A Texas jury has found a former Richmond megachurch pastor guilty of sexually assaulting two children in the 1990s. The verdict comes a day after “Pastor G” took the stand in his own defense.

The Star-Telegram reports that Geronimo Aguilar, better known as Pastor G, denied having any sexual contact with the alleged victims, even saying he considered them like sisters.

But according to the victims rights group SNAP, the jury came back after several hours of deliberating on Wednesday, with a guilty verdict on all seven counts against him: four counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child under 14, with two counts for each victim. Those charges are first degree felonies that could carry life in prison. He was also convicted of three counts of sexual assault of a child from the two alleged incidents. Those charges are second degree felonies that could carry up to 20 years in prison.
