It’s rough out here in hip-hop. One day you’re headlining* Summer Jam. The next day, you’re laughing stock.

Troy Ave released Major Without A Deal, his sophomore album, on June 5. The Neilsen Soundscan numbers are in. They’re bad. Real bad.

Major Without A Deal sold 4,373 digital copies…and just 30 physical copies. Twitter was savage.

To be fair, there’s been many other bad debut weeks in recent years — Angel Haze (less than 1,000) and Kreayshawn (3,900 copies) come to mind. That said, if you want to be LeBron, you have to put up the numbers.

*Troy Ave somehow managed to get a five-minute set after headliner Meek Mill went off. It’s something.
