The University issued a statement apologizing to fans and concertgoers for the inconvenience.

The Nelly concert scheduled for April 23, 2015, which was to be held at the JQH Arena, has been canceled.

Missouri State apologizes for the inconvenience. Tickets purchased via credit card will be refunded automatically to the original purchaser. After his tour bus was pulled over on April 11, state troopers found “five colored crystal-type rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine” and “several handguns, including a gold-plated 50-caliber Desert Eagle pistol, a 45-caliber Taurus pistol and a 500 magnum Smith and Wesson,” according to KSDK.
