Singer Sam Smith is involved in a royalty lawsuit over his hit song “Stay With Me.”
Rock group Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers has sued over the likeness to there classic hit “I Won’t Back Down.”
Smith has been ordered to pay royalties to the songwriters of “I Won’t Back Down” and give song-writing credit to those writers for the song.
“Stay With Me” has been nominated for Song of the Year at the upcoming Grammy’s. Listen to the two songs belong and judge for yourself.
