Jacque Reid talks to Kimberly Sells Allers, author of …about an Oregon organization that targets black mothers in Detroit and convincing them to sell their breast milk for a dollar an ounce. While it sounds like a good idea, breast feeding advocates are not fans of the idea.

“Why are they targeting Detroit? Why black women? When we think about the history of black women’s being exploited in this country, we have to pause. You can’t come to our community saying you want to help us but not have a meeting with us,” she said.
