Kevin Hart may have been at the center of some of the leaked emails involved in the Sony Pictures hack, but he wants the world to know he’s FINE. His new movie The Wedding Ringer is coming out this Friday so he’s on top of the world. At least that’s what he says.

“I’m estactic right now. I’ve got another movie coming out right now. I’m the same way that I am when a movie’s coming out. I’m on Cloud Nine,” Hart told The Tom Joyner Morning Show.

But will his movie be funnier than Top Five, Chris Rock’s latest that he has a cameo in along with every other comedian known to man except, of course, Mike Epps?

“That’s a tough question. But let me show you how PC – how politically correct I am. Chris Rock is in his own realm of funny. He goes and catches attention with his projects that’s amazing. But that’s a completely different film. You’re looking at me being myself for the first time. That version of myself that I am onstage I got to be in this movie. And it’s my first, Rated R comedy. I got to be edgy. So when you say is it funny, I think you are looking at two movies that are hilarious, but hilarious in different ways.”

Hart also wants you to know that The Wedding Ringer is not about a wedding. It’s about a guy, played by Josh Gad, who hires a guy to be the best man at his wedding because he doesn’t have any friends.

“I’m a guy who has a business that provides friendship for those who lack. I’ve got to go out and make this lie believable. It’s about me finding these people and learning this guy’s life in and out so we can give the presentation of being best friends and go and be believable at this man’s wedding. It’s about the road to the actual wedding. Think Hangover meets Bridesmaids. In real life, this business is called prostitution. We took that and spun it.”
