A major toothpaste manufacturer is taking action after a Phoenix dental hygienist noticed an issue in her patients mouths…the presence of pieces of plastic!!!
It appears that toothpaste companies, especially Crest, have been putting micro beads made of polyethylene in its product. Polyethylene is plastic used in the making of grocery bags, garbage containers and other products, so why would this be in toothpaste.
According to these companies, polyethylene is used to give the various toothpastes their color….ugh.
