Pow Wow on the Landing is an afternoon by the River at Osborne Boat Landing & Park in Henrico Country, 9530 Osborne Turnpike, Saturday, June 28th, from noon – 6pm. The free event is hosted by Youghtanund, a local, Inter-Tribal Native American Drum Group in conjunction with Henrico County Recreation and Parks.  Pow Wow on the Landing will have traditional Native American dance and drum groups, local and from the east coast. The event will also have crafts for sale, cultural demonstrations and food. Organizers suggest to come early and carpool, the on site parking is limited. Grand Entry and Opening Ceremonies are at noon, Inter-Tribal Dancing and Exhibition Dances at 12:30pm, and the closing ceremony is at 5:45pm. The Emcee is Dennis W.
