Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw became the second pitcher this season to toss a no-hitter.

Kershaw has two Cy Young awards, and a 20 win season under his belt already but now the dominant lefty has added a no-hitter to his already sterling resume.

Kershaw was dominant Wednesday night against the Rockies. He put himself in rare air by completing the feat with 15 strikeouts without allowing a single walk. Kershaw is the only pitcher in MLB history to accomplish this, Nolan Ryan is the only pitcher with more strikeouts in a no-no at 17. A Hanley Ramirez throwing error in the seventh inning was the only blemish on an otherwise historic pitching performance.

It is a fitting performance for a pitcher that has already won three ERA titles in just six years. This could go down as one of the best pitching performances of all-time as he did this against the team that boasts the league’s best batting average.
