The mayor of Porterville, Ca. has found himself in the spotlight after suggesting that victims of bullying need to “grow a pair.”
Mayor Cameron Hamilton made the statement after a councilwoman introduced an anti-bullying proposal.
“I mean, I am against bullying, but I am getting damn tired of it being used as a mantra for everything that ills the world when all most people have to do is a grow a pair and stick up for them damn selves.”
Mayor Hamilton admitted that he also was bullied at a young age by a knife wielding boy…and he dealt with it.
