Christine Gelineau (pictured) has been placed behind bars for up to 30 years as part of a plea bargain for burning her 19-year-old son’s penis and inflicting other atrocities on the teen. The Massachusetts mom pleaded guilty to first-degree assault and witness tampering after she coerced her son to lie about the abuse she subjected him to throughout the years, according to the Concord Monitor.

During a court hearing, which took place at the Merrimack County Superior Court in New Hampshire, the teen boy read a letter he had composed which spoke to the acts of barbarism he endured at the hands of his own mother.

“Dear ex-Mother,

What you did to me is unforgivable. You beat me, starved me, almost chopped my penis off, threw my clothes away, wouldn’t let me bathe. You almost killed me by having me take three (anti-depressants) and two muscle-relaxers. Now that I know you’re a complete criminal and only wanted me dead so you could go back to your old life. You won’t be able to attend my graduation or see me go on to college, so I wish you goodbye. I hope you realize you have lost everything you had.”

According to a court affidavit, Gelineau did admit to burning the tip of her son’s penis in mid-April of this year, but only after he allegedly wanted to have sexual relations with her. The 53-year-old woman described in the court document how she slipped on a pair of gloves because she thought her son’s penis was dirty, then yanked and twisted her son’s member, holding it firmly, so that she could place a lighter on it for several seconds, as the youth cried out in agony.

The unnamed son, who sustained second and third degree burns after having his penis set afire by Gelineau, has been left with permanent nerve damage.

Daniel ‘Tyler’ Cantrell, 20, a named accomplice in the case told police how Gelineau only burned her son’s penis after she attempted to force him to eat feces and he refused. She then threatened to burn him. When the teen complied and carried out the vile command, his mother burned him anyway.

Cantrell, who is scheduled to be tried next month on multiple felony charges, admitted to authorities that he kicked Gelineau’s son into a bedroom, tied him down and walked away when he saw Gelineau pull her son’s pants down right before she burned him. Cantrell also revealed to investigators how he had taken part in numerous brutalities towards the teen which include hitting, strangulation with a scarf, burning of the youth’s nipple with a lighter, pressing a lit cigarette onto the back of his head and twisting his ankle until it cracked.

Police also discovered that the victim’s cousin, Amy Nason, 29, who also took part in some of the brutalities aimed at Gelineau’s son, such as forcing him to eat worms and drink urine and dish washing liquid soap, also faces a witness tampering charge. She is scheduled for a plea and sentencing hearing in two weeks

Police were tipped off about Gelineau’s son’s abuse last April, via the state Division for Children, Youth and Families which was contacted by the parents of a 12-year-old girl, who had visited Nason’s daughter and witnessed a form of the abuse against the teen.

When the victim was first interviewed he denied any abuse, claiming his injuries were self-inflicted. When detectives called on the victim again, he recanted his earlier statements and implicated his mother, Cantrell and Nason as his abusers.

The victim is back in school and now living with an aunt and uncle in Massachusetts.
