floodAuthorities in the Boulder, Co. have called for thousands more people in the inundated city and nearby towns to evacuate as rivers and creeks rose to dangerous levels.

Rain still falls and some have compared the massive flooding to a biblical plague. At least three people were killed and numerous people had to seek shelter up and down Colorado’s Front Range.

Towns in the Rocky Mountain foothills have been isolated by flooding and without power or telephone since rain began to fall.
