Personal trainer Effie is the proud mother of two beautiful children – Kaishela, a freshman at Virginia State University and Chance, an eighth grade student at Manchester Middle School. She was born and raised in Gordonsville, Virginia where she attended Orange County Public Schools. With an older brother as a star athlete, the drive for athletic perfection was a seed planted early in life. While in middle and high school, she was active in basketball, track and cheerleading. Her passion for basketball eventually evolved into a five year coaching career for middle, junior varsity and varsity girls’ basketball with Richmond Public Schools. Effie has been a certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor for two years, specializing in the “Stiletto Workout”!
