The NFL Preseason continues tonight with it’s first Monday Night national game featuring the Washington Redskins, who just broke training camp in Richmond, hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers, who represent the league’s most respected franchise with 6 Super Bowl titles. The Redskins will start QB Kirk Cousins again tonight as Robert Griffin III will sit out the preseason as a precaution although he says he’s ready to go. R G – 3 and Washington Coach Mike Shanahan have tried to squash any appearance that the two are not in sync or on the same page as to whether or not Griffin will play and even start the regular season.

On Sunday, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the New York Giants, joining other weekend winners like the Arizona Cardinals, who beat the Cowboys, Richmond’s Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks clobbered the Denver Broncos, and the defending world champion Baltimore Ravens came back to defeat Atlanta. Also among the winners this past weekend, the Eagles, Bears, Browns, Jets, Patriots, Texans, Packers, Bills, and yes, even the Saints came marching in. Tuesday is a CUT day around the NFL, so a lot of those playing tonight will not be around tomorrow. That’s why they call it the N F L………” Not For Long “.
