Another member of the jury has spoken out about the Zimmerman case, stating that she believed him to be guilty, but that they had no choice but to acquit him.

This juror, known as B29, was interviewed by ABC News on Thursday concerning the verdict of the Zimmerman trial and how the jury came to their decision.

 

She allowed ABC to show her face and identify her as “Maddy,” since the juror’s names are sealed.

Juror B29 stated that the evidence did not prove Zimmerman guilty. She originally wanted to convict him of second-degree murder, but after deliberating for 9 hours, she realized there wasn’t enough proof under Florida law.

She felt as if this decision let down a lot of people, including Trayvon Martin’s parents and still isn’t sure the right call was made.

“George Zimmerman got away with murder, but you can’t get away from God. And at the end of the day, he’s going to have a lot of questions and answers he has to deal with,” she said. But “the law couldn’t prove it,” she said,
