Orlando Shaw (pictured) of Nashville, Tenn., takes being a baby’s daddy to a new, unheard of level.

WTVF-TV Nashville reports that the strapping 33-year-old man is the father of twenty-two children by fourteen women, a feat he blames on his past devotion to the ladies.

“I was young and ambitious and I love women,” Shaw said of his undisciplined sperm shooting. “You can’t knock no man for loving women.”

Well, the mother of his children have certainly come knocking. Through Child Support Services, the mother of Shaw’s children are suing him for back child support amounting to tens of thousands of dollars. Currently, the state of Tennessee supports all of Shaw’s children to the sum of $7,000 per month.

During an appearance in court this week, magistrate Scott Rosenberg asked how Shaw could even deal with his financial commitments to his children.

“How do we apply our child support guidelines to this many children in this many households,” he said.

The judge said that Shaw would need to work three or four full-time jobs to even come close to paying the child support he owes. Shaw says his criminal record prevents him from finding a job. When a reporter from WTVF-TV Nashville asked him how he plans on earning money, he said good luck could save him someday.

“I’m just hoping one day I might get lucky,” Shaw said. “I might scratch off the numbers or something. I play the hell out of Tennessee lottery. I mean, I literally do. I play the number tickets, scratch-offs. I don’t block my blessing. Somebody out there may be like, ‘Listen. This is a guy that has really changed his life.’ Somebody will give me a chance.”

As for having more kids, Shaw says he’s done; he plans of getting a vasectomy. But he speaks with no shame when discussing his large family.

“I love my kids and I can care less about what anyone thinks about it,” he said.  He added that they will help his legacy live on. “I’ll be sure we’ll be here for years and years to come.”

Let’s just hope their future does not reflect that of their father’s current state of affairs.
