In a civil proceeding today, a Richmond judge refused to permanently close Ann’s Soul Food, a downtown restaurant that authorities say is a source of drug activity.
Circuit Judge Walter W. Stout III ruled that the restaurant in the 200 block of East Broad Street will only operate as a takeout restaurant for the next two months.
