A man and woman who had been missing for more than two weeks had been fatally shot in the head before police discovered their bodies Tuesday in the man’s car in South Richmond.
The medical examiner’s office released the cause of death yesterday for Angela L. Moore, 41, of Henrico County and her boyfriend, Tracy O. Scott, a 42-year-old convicted murderer who lived in North Richmond.
Police found Scott in the trunk and Moore in the back seat of the car in a parking lot at the Kingly Ones apartment complex off Hopkins Road, authorities said.
No arrests had been made as of last night.
The couple had been having a difficult relationship, a matter acknowledged yesterday by Moore’s 17-year-old daughter, Keyarna Lee.
A judge had ordered Scott to stay away from Moore and Lee after police arrested Scott on Nov. 25 for allegedly breaking down the front door of Moore’s eastern Henrico home and assaulting her and Lee, according to court papers in Henrico Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
