President Obama honored American veterans (our heroes) Sunday. At Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia, President Obama said, quote, “this is the first Veterans Day in a decade in which there are no American troops fighting and dying in Iraq.” The president also mentioned care and support for our veterans with health challenges or not, saying, quote, ‘that’s our obligation, a sacred obligation.” Before President Obama delivered his tribute to veterans and their families, he was joined by First Lady Michelle Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, who led the crowd in a moment of silence at the Tomb of the Unknown Solider. The president then laid a wreath at the tomb.

Today we honor military veterans of yesterday and today. Thank you for your sacrifice to keep us safe in our free country. While you were down in the trenches, we were in the trenches on our knees praying for your safety and return home to your family. Miss Community Clooovia
