James River High School alum Kellie Wells won a bronze medal earlier today in the women’s 100m hurdles with a time of 12.48 seconds. Following her victory, Wells was as exuberant as most gold medal winner. Heck, maybe even more. She seemed to savor the moment. Wells draped herself in the flag as she dashed around the track. The James River alum was all smiles following her victory. She finished first in her qualifying heat Monday and in the semifinal heat earlier today to qualify for today’s finals.

Watch Wells run tonight during NBC’s primetime coverage starting at 8 p.m.
