Serena Williams, the reigning queen of tennis was   focused and swinging hard at the 2012 Wimbledon Tennis Classic at the All-England Lawn & Tennis Club in London.    She defeated Agnieska Radwanska 6 – 1, 5 – 7,  6 – 2  to win the Women’s Final on Saturday, the fifth of her career. Williams is the first 30-year-old female to make the final since Steffi Graf last accomplished the feat back in 1996, and let’s be honest, tennis is mostly a sport for younger legs, but Serena has the gift of speed and power.

Williams faced the 3rd – seeded Radwanska of Poland  on the game’s biggest stage, a title Serena had already won four times, while sister Venus is a 5-time Wimbledon champion.   Venus and Serena are also playing for the Women’s Doubles championship as well.   In the Men’s Final on Sunday, Roger Federer dominated center-court and Englishman Andy Murray to win his 7th Wimbledon crown.
