Actors Will and Jada Pinkett Smith have been married since 1997 and long denied rumors of relationship troubles, and Jada is tired of all the negative attention.

“Every year, one celebrity couple is under the microscope. This year, unluckily, it’s us!” Jada expresses to French magazine Gala, months after that the couple – parents to Trey, 18, Jaden, 13, and Willow, 11 – refuted a tabloid report claiming they were headed for divorce, according to Us Weekly.

Pinkett Smith explains that rumors of marital strife couldn’t be further from the truth. Acknowledging that she and her husband frequently spend time apart for business purposes, Jada says their bond as a couple is as strong as ever. Pinkett Smith also denied a report that the couple was no longer living together.

“That’s ridiculous. These rumors are completely untrue,” she says. “Will and I know the truth. I travel a lot because of my work, just like Will does….But our lifestyle hasn’t changed. Before we had the kids, we were already far away from each other quite often because of separate projects.”

One of Jada’s most recent project was an intense ballad she wrote just for her husband, which she released on Valentine’s Day.

“With the major losses we have experienced in the last few weeks…We should remember…Our lives are worth living fully. Our risks are worthy. Our mistakes are worthy. Our traumas are worthy as well,” she croons in “Burn,” the song she posted on her Facebook page.
