For the first time ever, rain has forced postponement of NASCAR’s most prestigious event, the Daytona 500. A historic storm blew into Daytona Beach on Sunday causing officials to postpone the race until today at 12 noon, but the rain was still falling this morning and now the race has been moved to a 7pm start tonight. Could be a great night for fans who couldn’t get tickets as many of the ticketholders have already left town.
