R&B singer-songwriter Robin Thicke was arrested Friday on a drug possession charge in New York City.
Police say they arrested the son of Growing Pains star Alan Thicke early Friday afternoon in Manhattan near Madison Square Park. Officers say they saw the singer smoking a joint while inside a black SUV Cadillac Escalade.
“He wasn’t driving,” a police source tells the newspaper. “He was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him.”
He was given a desk appearance ticket and released, reports AP.
Thicke’s wife, Mission Impossible actress Paula Patton, has been spotted at New York Fashion Week shows in the last several days.
