KISS-FM regrets to inform our Old School music lovers that we have lost another great musician of days gone by, Jimmy Castor, of the famed “Jimmy Castor Bunch”, passed away on Tuesday in Las Vegas at age 71. Castor came onto the music scene in 1972 with ” Troglodyte ” and ” The Bertha Butt Boogie “, both big hits for the New York-born saxophonist. Castor suffered a heart attack in November, and never fully recovered. R.I.P. Jimmy……
