After 25 years of celebrities and newsmakers coming to The Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah Winfrey will now go to them.

Premiering Sunday, Jan. 1 at 9 p.m. on OWN, Oprah’s Next Chapter will see Winfrey venturing out in the field to conduct in-depth interviews and hold thought-provoking conversations.

“After 25 years I got myself out of the studio chairs. I moved into the next chapter, and I am having more fun than ever — moving around the country and the world talking to people I’m really interested in getting to know and I think viewers will be, too,” Winfrey said in a statement. “It is so energizing to be out and about in the world exploring new people, new places and new ideas.”

The special two-hour debut on New Year’s Day will feature Winfrey visiting Steven Tyler’s home in New Hampshire, where the Aerosmith frontman discusses his life, from years of battling drug addiction to his newfound fame as a judge on American Idol.

Future adventures include a trip to Haiti with Sean Penn, a tour of Skywalker Ranch with George Lucas, a sit-down with a Hasidic Jewish family, fire-walking with Tony Robbins and a voyage to India with Deepak Chopra.
