A big crowd as usual expected for the 2011 Virginia State University Homecoming this afternoon on The Hill, and added incentive to attend is the opponent, the arch-rival Panthers of Virginia Union University.  As the saying goes “throw records out of the window” when these two get together, doesn’t matter.  The rivalry is one of the biggest amongst the nation’s HBCU’s, the setting is by far the finest in the CIAA, and the thousands of beautiful brothers and sisters who attend are what makes me proud to be a Trojan Man!  For details on all of the week’s festivities, go to VSUHomecoming.net.  The Trojans defeated Lincoln University last Saturday in Pennsylvania, while Union had the weekend off.  As always, the highlight of any autumn Saturday in the Land of  Troy is that soulful sound of the Virginia State University “Trojan Explosion”!  Don’t miss it!  Wet weather is being forcasted for this afternoon, but we still wish a Happy Homecoming to all VSU Students, Administration, Alumni, & Friends from your No. 1 station, KISS-FM.  Go Trojans!
