The Texas Rangers aren’t fooling around in the American League Championship Series.  The word has always been that they do it BIG in Texas, and last night, Nelson Cruz did it real big, hitting a walk-off game-ending grand slam home run in the 10th inning to give the Rangers a 7-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers.  It was the first time such a feat has occurred in a post-season contest.  Texas now has a 2-0 lead in the series which now shifts to Motown.  In the National Lewague Championship Series, the St. Louis Cardinals tied their series with the Milwaukee Brewers by defeating the Brew Crew in Game 2  Albert Pujols homered, had two doubles, and multiple runs batted in.  The NLCS will move to Missouri for Games 3 & 4.
