“Basketball Wives: LA” Producers Say Kimsha Artest Stopped Filming, Draya Confronted by Co-Stars

Everybody’s been wondering where the heck Kimsha Artest has been all season on “Basketball Wives: LA” (and Tanya Williams as well), since she hasn’t appeared on the show since episode 2.

Now the producers are speaking out about what really went down, and why it’s all Kimsha’s fault.

Viewers haven’t seen Kimsha Artest since episode 2. Rumors suggest she was purposely edited out of the series. And it didn’t help that a fake Facebook page started spewing accusations against the producers and Shaunie O’Neal about having a personal vendetta against her.

Her (ex) husband Ron Artest tweeted that the account was fake, but didn’t speak on why she’s been M.I.A. But now the producers have decided to break their silence and tell their version:

“When Kimsha Artest signed on to be in ‘Basketball Wives: LA,’ we were very excited to have her onboard. That is why we were confused and disheartened when after a limited number of days shooting she stopped showing up for filming. This is the sole and only reason Kimsha has not appeared on more episodes of the series. Her minimal coverage on the show was entirely her decision and not that of Shed Media, VH1 or Executive Producer Shaunie O’Neal. ‘Basketball Wives: LA’ continues to be a ratings success for VH1 every Monday night.”

After Draya’s little breakdown on Monday night’s episode where she tried to say all the child neglect police reports about her are false, the reporter who first exposed the story is standing by his word.

According to his report, Draya Michele was charged with leaving her child unattended. Reportedly at 7-years-old, the child was left home alone, while Draya went to work as an exotic dancer in a gentlemen’s club. He also stated, Draya accepted the punishment and attended family rehab and counseling.

The ringleader in this circus was Laura Govan, the woman who allegedly “slept with” Shaunie O’Neal’s husband. Govan claims the rumors are untrue and she wants folks to believe her. Yet, she refused to believe Draya Michele’s claims that the rumors about her were untrue.
