The National Basketball Association has already lost over $200 million in preseason revenue, and Commissioner David Stern recently admitted he wasn’t very optimistic that there will be any games this season.  The question remains who will blink first?  It doesn’t appear the owners will, and no further discussions have been planned.  The negotiations have gotten very ugly and contentious.  The season was scheduled to start on November 1st,and there was hope of getting the season started before the Christmas holidays,  but it is more and more  unlikely there will be any games in this calendar year, and now the Commissioner has cancelled another two weeks of the season.
