Love him or hate him, you can’t question the heart and the fortitude of Dallas QB Tony Romo, who with a punctured lung and a broken rib, guided the Cowboys to an 18-14 win over the arch-rival Washington Washington Football Team.  The loss is almost an embarrassment to the Washington Football Team considering Romo’s condition, and the fact that Dallas played minus all of it superstars on offense except Felix Jones and Jason Witten.  The Cowboys were playing with walk-ons and replacements, yet Washington could not seize the moment, couldn’t pressure Romo into any major mistakes, and in the 4th quarter, they couldn’t stop Dallas when they HAD to.  Jones rushed for over 100 yards although the Boys couldn’t get into the end zone, settling  for six field goals by Dan Bailey.  The Skins blew a tremendous opportunity because a win would have given them sole possession of the NFC East lead.  That guarantees nothing, but it’s a much nicer view from the top!
