President Obama will unveil his jobs plan before a joint session of Congress one day before his arrival in Richmond, Virginia. This statement is confirmed by a White House official speaking on condition of anonymity ahead of a public announcement.

President Obama’s visit is free and open to the public at the Robbins Center on Friday at 11:30 a. m. Tickets are required to hear his speech and will be available 3 pm. to 6 p.m. on Thursday.
