President Barack Obama will honor 2010 Chase Champion Jimmie Johnson and the rest of the 2010 Chase finalists at the White House today at 4 p.m. eastern.

President Obama will meet and greet  drivers Johnson, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Matt Kenseth and Kurt Busch. But, drivers Tony Stewart, Greg Biffle, Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards will not attend because of scheduling conflicts.

NASCAR chairman and chief executive officer Brian France and President of Richmond International Raceway Dennis Bickmeier will also attend today.

According to the White House President Obama plans to recognize NASCAR for giving back to the community, continuing the tradition of lauding athletes and sports teams for their efforts both on and off the field.
