After giving his kids some attention and jumpstarting their acting careers, Will Smith is back to working on his own star.

Big Willie is going back into the studio to record a new album, as well as working on two new films.

“We’re working on Will Smith, bringing him back. That’s actually him on the other line right now,” music producer Lamar (Mars) Edwards told XXL Magazine by phone.

Smith is already busy filming “Men in Black 3”, and film producers are hoping to secure for the lead role for a remake of the 1966 sci-fi adventure, “Fantastic Voyage.”

Making a name for himself as a hip-hop atist in the ’80s, the Fresh Prince hit it big with his own TV show, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” which ran for 6 years in the early ’90s.

From there, he went on to become a Hollywood A-lister, appearing in “Bad Boys,” “Independance Day,” “Ali,” “I Robot” and “I Am Legend,” among others.

Responsible for hit singles like “Gettin’ Jiggy wit It” and “Miami,” it has been six years since “Lost and Found,” which went gold in America.

In the intervening years, he’s been helping launch the careers of his kids, with 10-year-old daughter Willow releasing the platinum-certified single “Whip My Hair,” and appearing with Smith in “I Am Legend.”

His son, 13-year-old Jaden, has already built up film credits, appearing first in “The Pursuit of Happyness,” and going on to star in “The Karate Kid” remake and “The Day the Earth Stood Still.”
