As the National Football League prepares for the upcoming Hall Of Fame weekend, the game sadly lost one of it’s greatest players in Charles “Bubba” Smith, who passed away Wednesday in Los Angeles.  Bubba was 66 years old, and when he played defensive end for the old Baltimore Colts, he was perhaps the most feared pass rusher in the game.  Often commanding two blockers, Smith was a fierce competitor and helped the Colts win Super Bowl 5 over the Dallas Cowboys.  He later turned to acting following his NFL career, best known for his roles in the hit “Police Academy” movies.  While many pass rushers have come and gone and more than likely made more money than Smith ever saw while playing football, trust me, there were none much better than Charles ” Bubba” Smith.
