ESPN is reporting the NFL Players Association has agreed in principle with all points of the new Collective Bargaining Agreement, and the lock-out will officially ends as soon as all the I’s are dotted and the T’s are crossed, which looks to be this upcoming weekend.  The biggest sticking point for the players was getting the union re-certified, and with that issue being worked out, as well as others, training camps could be open by Saturday.  This is a 10-year agreement, so the process has been long and deliberate, but for the fan, this is great news indeed.  Don’t expect an exciting preseason, but the free agency fishing should be fun to watch.
